What are cookies

Categories we use

Strictly necessary (always on): a localStorage entry called 'cookie_consent' that remembers whether you have accepted or rejected analytics. Without this we would prompt you on every page load.

Analytics (consent required, off by default): we use PostHog (EU cloud) to understand how visitors move through the site so we can improve it. PostHog sets cookies and localStorage entries to attribute repeat visits and capture aggregated, anonymised usage data. Nothing analytics-related runs until you click 'Accept' on the cookie banner.

We do not use advertising, retargeting, or third-party social-media tracking cookies on this website.

Error monitoring

We use Sentry to capture technical errors so we can fix them. Sentry is invoked only when an error occurs and does not set tracking cookies. It records the error and minimal context (page URL, browser, anonymised IP). On the platform (app.activitus.co.uk), Sentry can include a session replay of the moments around an error to help us reproduce it — this is automatically disabled outside of error events.

Third-party cookies on linked services

Our website may load content from third-party services (such as web fonts via Google Fonts). These services may set their own cookies, governed by their own policies.

On the platform (app.activitus.co.uk), Clerk sets authentication cookies that are strictly necessary for keeping you signed in. These are not present on activitus.co.uk.

How to control your choices

Use the 'Accept' / 'Reject' buttons in the cookie banner. Clearing your browser's site data for activitus.co.uk will reset your choice and show the banner again on your next visit.

You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly-necessary functionality may affect how the site behaves.
